Working principle and using method of oxygen reducing valve

In physical and chemical experiments, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, argon and other gases are often used in oxygen pressure reducing valve. These gases are generally stored in special high-pressure gas cylinders. When in use, the gas pressure is reduced to the required range of the experiment through the pressure reducing valve, and then the gas is input into the use system through the fine adjustment of other control valves. The commonly used pressure reducing valve of Zui is oxygen pressure reducing valve, which is called oxygen meter for short.

Working principle of oxygen reducing valve

The high-pressure chamber of the oxygen pressure reducing valve is connected with the cylinder, and the low-pressure chamber is the gas outlet and leads to the use system. The indication of the high pressure gauge is the pressure of the gas stored in the cylinder. The outlet pressure of the low pressure gauge can be controlled by the adjusting screw. When using, first open the master cylinder switch, then turn the pressure regulating screw of the low-pressure gauge clockwise to compress the main spring and drive the film, spring cushion block and ejector pin to open the valve. In this way, the high-pressure gas at the inlet enters the low-pressure chamber after throttling and reducing pressure in the high-pressure chamber, and then leads to the working system through the outlet. Turn the adjusting screw to change the opening height of the valve, so as to adjust the flow of high-pressure gas and achieve the required pressure value.

Pressure reducing valves are equipped with safety valves. It is a device for protecting the pressure reducing valve and making it safe to use. It is also a signal device for the failure of the pressure reducing valve. If the outlet pressure rises by itself and exceeds a certain allowable value due to valve pad, valve damage or other reasons, the safety valve will automatically open and exhaust.

How to use oxygen pressure reducing valve

1. There are many specifications of oxygen pressure reducing valve according to different requirements. The high inlet pressure of Zui is mostly, and the low inlet pressure of Zui is not less than 2.5 times of the outlet pressure. There are many outlet pressure specifications, generally, Zui high outlet pressure is.

2. When installing the pressure reducing valve, make sure that its connection specification is consistent with the connection of the cylinder and the use system. The pressure reducing valve and the cylinder are connected by hemispherical surface, and the two are completely matched by tightening the nuts. Therefore, the two hemispheres should be kept smooth and clean to ensure good air tightness. Dust can be removed by high pressure gas before installation. If necessary, polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials can also be used as washers.

3. The oxygen pressure reducing valve shall not contact with grease to avoid fire accident.

4. When stopping the operation, the residual gas in the pressure reducing valve shall be discharged completely, and then the adjusting screw shall be loosened to prevent the elastic element from being pressed and deformed for a long time.

5. The pressure reducing valve shall avoid impact vibration and contact with corrosive substances.

Other gas pressure reducing valve

Some gases, such as nitrogen, air, argon and other * gas, can use oxygen pressure reducing valve. However, some gases, such as ammonia and other corrosive gases, need special pressure reducing valve. Common on the market are nitrogen, air, hydrogen, ammonia, acetylene, propane, water vapor and other special pressure reducing valves. The use method and precautions of these pressure reducing valves are basically the same as those of oxygen pressure reducing valves. However, it should also be noted that the special pressure reducing valve is generally not used for other gases. In order to prevent misuse, some special pressure reducing valves and cylinders use special connection ports. For example, hydrogen and propane use left thread, also known as reverse thread,
